 Bejelentés szerinti eseményleírás: A jobb hajtómű 3000 láb magasságban a gázkar maximális állásánál folyamatosan csökkentette a fordolatszámát egészen 4%-ig. A hajtómű hibaelhárítási check-list végrehajtása sem vezetett eredményre, ezért a hajtómű leállítása után leszálltak a pályára.

While flying at 3000 ft, the RH engine stopped to respond to the engine controls and the RPM went down to 4%. The crew went through the engine troubleshooting checklist but was not able to solve the problem, therefore they shut down the engine and landed with the remaining LH engine.
